![]() ![]() How much earlier, I'm not sure, since the last version I was on was probably like 3200.Įdit: Some good news that's unfortunately not related to the sound issue: updating to the latest 3302 seems to have eliminated that aggravating stuttering, but of course, that still leaves us with ostensibly a pretty large sound regression and two small graphical regressions. It's probably going to be a little slower, but your best bet for right now, I think, would be to use an earlier version. It also seems like there's a lot more stuttering in this version. Feels so good I cant wait for Jak 2 and 3 This was the most exciting gaming news in a while for me. ![]() if you're sharply turning to the right, the blue exhaust will teleport to the left, then teleport back when you're done). And another where the blue exhaust will abruptly change positions when you're making a sharp turn (e.g. the red power-ups look like they're pink sometimes. The story begins with Jak's banishment to the Wasteland, a desert environment five times the size of Haven City, with multiple areas, including mines and a volcano. Now that I know this is an issue and not just some random fluke, I'm considering posting an issue of it over on the PCSX2 GitHub.Īs an aside, I believe there's another, more subtle graphical regression: all of the power-ups now look like they're whitish from a distance, e.g. Game description: Jak 3 combines elements from a variety of genres, including driving, adventure, action, puzzle, strategy, and exploration. I usually play with a Europe BIOS but I've read that there may be a region problem depending on the ISO (the ISO is USA, so I'm using a USA BIOS V 02.30 for now). I don't have any other issues during the gameplay tho. However, I made another save file just recently (same memory card) with the latest dev version, and suddenly I'm having the same problem as you: no voices and no music. As the title explains it, I have no sound direct the cutscenes music nor dialogues. ![]() Jak X (NTSC) Hang Time counter audio issue SPU2-X: Jak X (NTSC-U) Hang Time counter audio issue Oct 5, 2019. I made two save files on an earlier build of PCSX2, and the sound on those works just fine. In PCSX2, the audio plays at the right time, but for whatever reason, instead of the normal ticking sound effect (its somewhat faint here), it makes a loud, cacophonous honking noise. I never tried to fix them, but I know what you're talking about: the wheels look like a kaleidoscope threw up on them (well, they used to now it's more like a leprachaun did), and the panels on certain vehicles look like flickering checkerboards.Īs for the sound, I actually suspect that it might be a regression of some sort. The wheels and parts of the vehicles, I believe, are mipmapping errors. ![]()
